Over 50 middle school and elementary school students joined us for the FIRST ever Saturday Science class. Using the format pioneered by Edmond Santa Fe’s Lobos team, our mentors designed fun filled activities to spark the interest of the campers.
Middle School students spent a half day analyzing the DNA of elf blood (it was at Christmas time when many elves were available) and elementary students focused their time on aerospace activities.
The day was very well received by both parents and campers. The Team plans to use this format in the future to promote VEX partnerships.
