Fridays competition was brutal. Hangman finally got himself to hang on the pole but slipped. The design has been changed so he should do better Saturday morning. The kicker was working well so we should be good to go.
Fridays competition was brutal. Hangman finally got himself to hang on the pole but slipped. The design has been changed so he should do better Saturday morning. The kicker was working well so we should be good to go.
The team left Lawton early this morning while it was still dark, 6:30 which required students to get up several hours before their normal routine called for. They arrived at their hotel about 8:00 and began unloading their luggage and peices of our robot Hangman. Hangman was taken apart earlier this month and his main frame shipped to the FIRST robotics competition headquarters for safe keeping and to meet the competition deadline. Today they brought the rest of the robot and have spent the day reassembling him and getting him in working order.
Recently the team set up a face book page for Team 2435 that allows us to interact with team supporters, keep them up to date on our progress and get feedback from them. In addition to posting updates we have been able to add a team photo album and plan to add videos as they become available.Within two weeks we had over 100 fans and this continues to grow.
